KAM Fueled Racing is entering its second season in the Late Model division at Grandview Speedway where Andy Cassel will be making left-hand turns at the oval.
In the first year of operations in 2016, Joe “Geezer” Fanelli drove the Lazer chassis to an 8th place finish in the highly competitive Late Model Division. After the season ended, Geezer decided to seek other opportunities which opened up the seat. With the help of 8 time track champion, Chuck Schutz, KAM Fueled Racing was introduced to Andy Cassel.
Andy comes with a long history of racing as his father ran modifieds for many years at Grandview Speedway in the 70’s. Andy also has been drag racing for a number of years and recently became involved in the legends division of modified racing. KAM Racing is really excited to have Andy piloting the Late Model for the 2017 season.
With the change in drivers also comes a change in numbers. KAM plans on running the Late Model with the number 28 with its team colors of red, black, and silver.
KAM continues to be built on family principles (KAM – Kylie, Alex, Matt - is named after the children of the owners) and strives to be the most complete competitive racing team.
After a successful inaugural season with an 8th place finish in the highly competitive Late Model division at Grandview Speedway, KAM Fueled would like to thank Joe "Geezer" Fanelli for his tireless dedication on the hot rod.
Being a first year team it is not always easy, but Geezer made it feel that way. With 3 heat wins and some solid runs in the features, KAM Fueled was always competitive. Geezer prepared the car each week with his hard working crew of Al, J.D., Bob, Ken, Cathy, Erik and a host of others. KAM is also thankful to all of the crew and those who supported the team throughout the season.
KAM is based on the principles of family (KAM stands for three children of the owner) , togetherness, and a positive approach in competition.
Thanks for a great season Geezer.
