After the races Alex would have his Dad stop off at a local car wash, not to help wash their ride, but to let Ryan Beltz, driver of the 221 Sportsman, know how well he did that night. This turned into a weekly meeting at the car wash and has led to a partnership with Beltz Racing.
For the 2017 season KAM Fueled Racing and Beltz Racing will partner up to field a Sportsman and Modified race car. Ryan has been racing for twenty plus years as both a modified and sportsman driver. His father, who is usually his entire crew, got Ryan interested in racing by taking him to Grandview Speedway at an early age.
People are always interested how a driver picks a number and Ryan's story is no different. While with his Dad at the track he would simulate his own race. The car that he would pick to be his would be numbered 221. That number will still be on Ryan's car, with the number one being in the shape of the KAM lighthouse, a great idea by Stephanie, the wife of Ryan.
Plans for the KAM/Beltz partnership is to run weekly in the Sportsman division at Grandview and enter the Modified for special shows. There may even be a road trip to another track during the season.
Sponsors on the 221 are: Just Crusing in Harleysville, PA; The Doll House, Sunshine Café, and Limerick Harware
The 221 headquarters is in Barto, PA,, only minutes from the racetrack.
KAM Fueled Racing is happy to have Beltz Racing join the KAM Family
