BRC LATE MODELS ARE IN THE LIMELIGHT AT GRANDVIEW WITH RUNNING OF CHAPMAN FORD CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM DEALERSHIP FIRECRACKER 40 ALONG WITH FIREWORKS DISPLAY, TP TRAILERS 358 MODIFIEDS AND SPORTSMAN SATURDAY

BECHTELSVILLE, PA July 6, 2016 . . . The popular BRC NASCAR Late Models will be in the spotlight on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway. Current point leader and defending champion Chuck Schutz will head up a strong field of racers as they take part in the big event of the season for the BRC Late Models, the Firecracker 40 being sponsored by Chapman Ford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership in Horsham, PA. They are the No. 1 Volume Dealer in the Philadelphia Region. In addition to the Late Models racing for increased prize money and the prestige of winning the big one, the TP Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be in action along with the Sportsman stock cars. Topping off the night will be the annual FIREWORKS display.

At least 12 events of racing will be presented along with the always popular FIREWORKS display.

This Saturday’s Low Down and Dirty Radio Meet & Greet is all about the Late Models. One of the rising stars of NASCAR Late Models Dan Green will be part of the opportunity for fans to meet the drivers, take pictures and collect autographs. Veteran racer, former champion, Lou Egrie Sr. will be there along with talented Drew Weiser. All drivers will have their cars on display at 5 p.m. in an area very close to the main gate.

All the activities on this night, Saturday, July 9th, get underway at 7:30 p.m. Adult admission is $25 with kids 6 thru 11 admitted for $5 while children under six admitted for free. Main gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Chapman is located on Easton Road in Horsham, PA and has eight dealerships spread over Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The business is family owned by Randy and Michael Chapman. Chapman’s return to Grandview will be their first involvement at the NASCAR track since they were involved with sponsorship of former racers Rick Schaffer and Dave Stonebraker.

Next on the schedule is the return of Super DIRTcar Series to Grandview for the Traffic Jam featuring a 60-lap Modified main event that will include many of the top dirt track Modified talents. In addition there will be a 25-lap Sportsman race. A full series of qualifying heat races will be lead up to the feature events. The Thursday, July 14th event will have a 7:30 p.m. starting time.

Grandview Speedway, a one-third-mile, banked clay track, is located on Passmore Road just off Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown. BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 29, 2016 . . . There have been 19 different feature winners in the three divisions of NASCAR stock car racing presented at Grandview Speedway on a weekly basis during the first half of the season. This could very well be one of the most competitive seasons seen on the one-third-mile, banked clay oval.

This Saturday night all three divisions are back in action as part of the Whelen Engineering sponsored night. Included will be the TP Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models and Sportsman stock cars. At least 12 events of stock car racing will get the green flag at 7:30 p.m.

The big question will be can there be new names added to the list of winners?

Youngsters will have the opportunity to win a bicycle courtesy of Kory Fleming and his Sleepy Hollow Modified team. This has become an annual tradition and the children love filling out the entry blanks in hope of being one of the lucky winners.

At 5 p.m. fans are invited to be part of the Low Down and Dirty Radio Meet & Greet taking place near the main gate. The Meet & Greets feature drivers signing autographs, chatting with fans and posing for photos with their cars. The main spectator gate does open at 5:30 p.m.

The Saturday night show offers a low $15 adult admission price while youngsters under 12 admitted FREE.

WILL THERE BE NEW FEATURE WINNERS IN THE MODIFIEDS AND SPORTSMAN TONIGHT? EIGHTEEN DIFFERENT FEATURE WINNERS SO FAR THIS SEASON IN THE STOCK CARS ; TSRS 305 SPRINTS MAKE A RARE SATURAY NIGHT APPEARANCE AT GRANDVIEW

Something for everyone pretty much covers it for tonight at Grandview. The Bechtelsville Car Wash sponsored night of racing will feature the TSRS 305 Sprints for fans of winged sprinters and the TP Trailers 358 Modifieds and Sportsman will be there for the stock car fans.

Added to the night will be a special Cash Dash featuring qualifying heat race winners in the Modified division. Bechtelsville Car Wash has posted the cash for the Cash Dash with $300 going to the winner. Other finishers will also receive cash awards based on the number of heat races run.

Fans will have a chance to see champion Mike Haggenbottom take on all the other standouts in exciting Sprint car action. A full series of qualifying events will lead up to the 25-lap feature.

Point leader Craig VonDohren will be leading the Modifieds and Jordan Henn, the Sportsman point leader, will head up an impressive array of Sportsman talents.

Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. with racing at 7:30 p.m.

The weekly Low Down and Dirty Meet & Greet takes at the main gate area at 5 p.m. and will feature Sprint car racer Jon Haegele along with his Sprint car. Originally it had been announced that Paul Houseknecht would be appearing but that was incorrect. Brian Houseknecht and his #323 Modified will be part of the Meet & Greet.

Adult admission is just $18 with youngsters under 12 admitted free. Active military will be admitted free with proper ID.

Sportsman Drivers Highlight BFP Specialties & Bashore Truckint Night at Grandview

The Sportsman stock cars will be getting a lot of attention as a large field of racers is expected to try for a starting spot in the 40-lap feature race that is part of the Saturday night action at Grandview Speedway. The night is sponsored by BFP Specialties and Bashore Trucking. In addition to the NASCAR Sportsman with a full series of qualifying events and 40-lap feature the T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be in action along with the BRC Late Models. At least 12 events will make up the night of excitement. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with racing starting at 7:30 p.m.

The Low Down and Dirty Radio Meet & Greet will feature, a last minute addition, Modified racer Jared Umbenhauer, along with Sportsman ace Jim Housworth and popular Late Model racer Joe “Geezer” Fanelli. It all starts at 5 p.m. and the drivers will also be displaying their race cars. It happens in the main gate area.

Duane Howard is expected to be back in action to challenge all the top talents in the T.P. Trailers Modified division. And who knows there just may be some other visitors.

Adult admission for tonight is $20 while youngsters 6 through 11 pay just $5. Kids under 6 are admitted free.

And kids should be making plans to be at Grandview Speedway on Saturday, July 2nd when Kory Fleming and the Sleepy Hollow Racing team have their traditional bike giveaway. At least four bikes will be given away to lucky youngsters, two 12 inch bikes and two 16 inch bikes. Youngsters will be asked to put their names on entry forms as they arrive in the speedway and at intermission there will be a drawing with at least four lucky winners.

Racers in all three divisions are reminded that in order to collect TP Trailers bonus bucks the winning race car must have TP decals visible on each side.

FOUR DIVISIONS OF RACING ACTION AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY FEATURED IN T.P.TRAILERS NIGHT; ALWAYS POPULAR VINTAGE CAR RACING WILL BE PART OF SATURDAY EVENTS

BECHTELSVILLE, PA June 8, 2016 . . . The battle for the lucrative NASCAR and track point titles continues at Grandview Speedway this Saturday with T.P.Trailers Night offering an exciting four division show of auto racing action. Judging from early racing action the season seems headed to becoming one of the most competitive seen at the 54-year-old racing facility in quite sometime.

With six weeks of racing completed ( four events have been rained out) Craig VonDohren is leading in the T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds with 1714 points and two wins to his credit. VonDohren is an eight time and defending champion. Veteran Mike Gular has put together a series of strong finishes to hold second in the chase for the NASCAR and track Modified titles. Gular is just 150 points behind and 10-time champion Jeff Strunk is coming off a strong second place finish last Saturday and is closing in on the top spot.

Dave Ogin, without benefit of a feature win, leads the BRC Late Model standings and Jordan Henn leads the Sportsman with 1237 counters and one win. Only 19 points separate Henn from challenger Craig Whitmoyer.

There have been 13 different feature winners in the three divisions of stock car racing making up the regular Saturday night attractions. The Sportsman division has had 6 different winners in as many races.

This Saturday night is T.P.Trailers Night. The Limerick, PA business has been a major booster of stock car racing at Grandview for several years and reaps the marketing benefits of being involved with the excitement of NASCAR 358 Modified action. The June 11th show will feature the T.P.Trailers NASCAR Whelen All American Series 358 Modifieds, BRC Late Models, Sportsman stock cars and the popular Blast from the Past Vintage racers. Racing gets the green flag at 7:30 p.m. Racing action will be recorded and shown later in the week on RCN-TV.

Spectator gates open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is just $15 for adults while youngsters under 12 are admitted free. Military with proper ID are also admitted free.

At 5 p.m. the Low Down and Dirty Radio Meet & Greet will feature three competitors with their race cars at the main gate area. This is a great opportunity to meet the racers, collect autographs and take pictures.
